For the past six years I have assisted small businesses, entrepreneurial ventures, and non-profits in the areas of strategic planning and operations.

I enjoy folks with a positive outlook on life that are solutions oriented; friends with whom I can have deep & serious conversations, but don't necessarily take themselves too seriously.

I appreciate independent media and a fresh perspective on current events, and I serve on the board of  The National Radio Proejct as the Treasurer.

Music is one of my primary passions, which finds an outlet through my saxophone.

I enjoy listening to almost any type of music that was created with some passion and meaning behind it…though I also enjoy nostalgic and fun tunes.

While completing my MBA, I began studying jazz on a formal basis in California's Bay Area at Laney College with John Gove & Jay Lehmann.
Then I studied with Clark Suprynowicz of the Berkeley Jazz Workshop. Recently I have taken courses at the Nashville Jazz Workshop.

Prior to these studies I recorded on 4 studio albums and performed in the wonderful town of Wilmington, NC with a variety of pop, reggae, and folk groups including:
